“You make your standards & your standards make you”
Little did I know at the time how much power this very statement holds. The strategies you do & the person you decide to be daily…or not, that creates the results you have.
As a Peak Performance Coach, I’m privileged to work with a number of extraordinary Entrepreneurs, High Performers & Executive Leaders who want to be their best while creating the impact they envision.
Ultimately like you and for my clients and almost everyone around you…. success is one of the ultimate targets. Being successful in the office, at home, in the gym or anywhere else that constitutes success for you.
Regardless of what your definition of success is, one pattern I have found that either serves or hinders people to reach Peak Performance & being their best…is their daily standards.
Daily standards meaning the minimum you demand from yourself & settle for each day because whether your goal is to lead your team powerfully, boost sales, find a way to add even more value to your customers or even become a better husband/wife…
your results both personally and professionally will be capped by the lowest standards you tolerate.
Low standards come in all shapes and forms whether it is how you deal with stress & burnout, how you treat others, allowing personal egos to run the office, not making the tough business decisions required, having no time to work on yourself and your own game as a leader, tolerating unprofessional behaviour by staff in the office, not speaking your truth in meetings and the list goes on…..
You make your standards & your standards make you
If you want to see a breakthrough in your business growth, sales, marketing, mindset, personal performance or even at home in your personal life, I can guarantee you one of the forces that will enable you to have the breakthrough…
is your daily standards & truly learning to set each and every day up to succeed.
My invitation to you today, is to identify the standards you have and whether they serve you or not both in the office & at home.
A great way to uncover your personal standards is through a simple but effective framework I was taught years ago called MOLO which stands for More Of & Less Of
What can you do More Of each day to reach/take strides towards your outcomes?
What can you do Less Of each day and eliminate to achieve your outcomes?
So, what can you do More Of & Less Of?
I’d love to hear your answers, comment below!
Once you have your answers from the MOLO exercise, the next step is to create a list of your ‘Daily Standards’ and make a powerful committed decision that these will be the standards you live from each and every day.
As Jim Rohn said ‘Repetition is the mother of all skill’ & through my experience as a coach working with a number of high performers, I truly have seen that we don’t achieve what we want but what we demand and command from ourselves daily.
Build your daily standards & they will serve you every day moving forwards.
Here’s to your continued success & if there is anything I can do to serve or support yourself and/or your business or if you have any questions about my latest article then please feel free to reach out to me here or at [email protected].

Your friend and coach,
